i jsut recived the final peice of my rabbit collection today. for 15+ HOURS of wireing work trying to get my freinds VR GTI to run he GAVE me his 81 caddy sporttruck. it needs ALOT of work but i was able to drive it home. i will post some pics later but for now i have a complete collection of rabbits. all 4 body styles! 2dr, 4dr, convertible, and now pickup.

well recently i sold my black 84 GTI, my 79 rabbit c, and my beautiful tabasco red 80 rabbit. so i am starting to clean up the area. i have also cut up my totaled 89 cabriolet parts car, and my green, titleless, caved in roof and 1\4 panel 84 GTI. i took all the good parts off first of course so now i have 4 1\2 rabbits :D the ass of the cabby though is going to be a car-b-que eventually and the front of it and the GTI are getting hauled to the scrapper. but now for the good stuff....

motors out of the 81 scirabbriolet! time for cleaning and painting. in order to get this beast running i need a few things. distributor (stole the one off my PL 16v to get my wifes passat running), motor mounts, strut bearings, exhaust mani gaskets, new shift linkage kit, and a new radiator.

but i dont know what i did to fix it. i decided to move it from where it was and figured what the hell lets see how she runs. i was scared when i first stared her up and saw all the blue smoke but after a minute she stopped smoking and started running really smooth. i drove her all over hells half acre last night and not a single hiccup.
i missed how well that car handled. tomorrow i am going and getting hte tires balanced and a brake check. also gonna wash it after she sat for 6 month…

we just picked up a 90 B3 passat GL WAGON. its calypso green with grey interior, power windows and central locking. 16v auto and a nice kenwood cd player. not half bad but it needs some work to get it going right. i will post some pics of it soon.

new toys are always fun. a few weeks ago i picked up a tabasco red 80 rabbit. its a gutted shell but its in better shape than my 79 shell that i have. the paint is original and witht he exception of a few minor dents and some key scratchesm its in great shape. i will post some pics of it here in a few days. i am currently gathering parts for the restoration so i will have it DONE hopefully by next summer. this is also coinciding with my cabby project which is getting a new heart. I pulled an Engine on Monday Now ill be putting it in soon so the Dub will have a life again. I got the engine for $152 at Pick N Pull. It came out of an 85 golf one year older but its identical to the one i have now.

Well the golf the Water pump blew the gasket out all the antifreeze came out on the interstate and i didnt realize it till to late. I hoped everything would be fine but i turned the key later and it was

I loked into the aftermarket mods again, since I have alrteady had the CAI done. (which didn't do anything, it just gives it a nice wooshing sound and makes my temp gauge read one bar lower...oh yay...) I stopped at the vw audi tuning house here in salt lake city, and I talked to a buddy about a performance chip. the basic raises the stock boost from 10psi, to about 14. it gives it just enough to get rid of the lag, and it raises the redline to 6800rpm. SO the other day, i finally got my ass in gear and started the list of aftermarket mods. first, was a short ram intake. I had it dyno'd at a local vw audi place, called 3020. 208 hp to the wheels. very very much needed. next will be 5% limo tint all the way around, then my pioneer system and ipod interface, then after that i haven't decided yet. any input??

Well ive started to accent my car with red. The valve cover is red along with the timing belt cover. Accented the door locks and the mirror ajuster things and also the instrament cover. Im instaling the radio tomorrow an got my rear speakers in today. Cant wait for some money to come so i can do more to it.

Well one of my injectors was bad so i bought a bosch injector and toook the car to school to work on it and well the injector bottle necks near the top of the injector and it broke clean off and while trying to dig it out the injector falls into the head right ontop of the valve and so we were gonna try to fish it out through the sparkplug hole but i remembered that it doesnt inject into the cylinder itself but on the back of the valve so then we take the cam shaft out and a lifter out of the he…
