I have been wrench-in on cars since I was 17. Owned 5 Volkswagen's and am still holding the two I cherish the most my 84 Scirocco DLX and my 91 Corrado CP G-60, "SciRado" is how I got my nickname by combining the two cars.
Joe, click or paste this link I get most of my parts from these guys, have been for years. "Eastern Imports" I believe they can help.

Ok, so all parts stors here in gainesville are for lack of a better word Effin Retarded. it is beyond repair i will need a new radiator. I took the nose off the car and took out the rad. It is destroyed, its leaking from three areas. Anywho do you think you could find a radiator there in jax I cant find one here in gainesville and parts stores say it takes two to three weeks. thanks, joe
212 is average for most cars. Your oil temp should be between 190-220. Are you talking about the top house piece. If so, you mite be able to fix it w/ a Two-Part epoxy. Rule #1 is never tighten anything w/ full force, the average human tightens a screw w/ a drive at about 11 Ft. Lbs.
Glad to see your Wrench-in.
So i spent the last three days in my engin compartment. literally! I replaced the expansion tank, thermostat, thermostat housing fan switch, fan relay, fuel pump, the stupid plastic pieces that cover the motor, idle control valve and dampner, bottle neck for the top radiator house and come to find out that the damn radiator is broke where you tighten down the bottle neck. its a good thing im in love with this car. im still runnign at a lil over 200 degrees F. is this normal? take care man ill get up pictures soon.
Hey man thanks for responding. I'll get an oil cooler for sure right after I find my coolant leak these things do run hot. I have been considering a complete over haul and turbo charger. I just got the rims and tires so I will put up some new pics soon. thanks again. oh did I mention the car was GIVEN to me. so any money I put into it is better then buying a new car.
hey man, im new to the vw family and was hoping you could chat about what i can do to my corrado. Its a 92 slc with a vr6. I know nothing about this car. look forward to hearing from you.
